The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), Orissa is conducted by the JEE Board on behalf of Govt. of Orissa. The entrance examination is held at selected centres in orissa for admission to the first year Degree courses in Engineering/Technology, Architecture, Hotel Management and Catering Technology (HMCT), MBBS/BDS, Pharmacy, MCA, MBA and to the Lateral Entry of State candidates to third semester of degree courses in Engineering/Technology, HMCT and Pharmacy. The JEE is conducted for admission to both private and government engineering colleges located in Orissa.

Note: The candidates seeking admission to M.Tech/M.Pharm/M.Arch should fill his/her application ONLY through online process by logging onto www.ojee.nic.in or www.odishajee.com. There will be no information brochure sold from banks or GPO or PGAT.

Engineering/Technology: Passed or appearing in 2012, 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with on of the subjects from Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Geology/ Statistics. The candidates should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks(40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects takn together.
Architecture: Passed or appearing in 2012, 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects from Chemistry/ Engineering Drawing/ Computer Science/ Biology. The candidates should have passed individual subject and must have obtained at least 45% marks(40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together.
Pharmacy: Passed or appearing in 2012, 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with on of the subjects from Mathematics/ Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology. The candidate should have obtained at least 45% marks(40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects takn together.
MBBS/BDSL: Passed or appearing in 2012, 10+2 examination of CHSE, Odisha or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany nd Zoology) with at least 50% marks in aggregate (Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together) in the qualifying examination for general category candidates and 40% marks in aggregate for Sc/ST candidates. The candidates also shall have to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in OJEE-2012 examination for general category candidates and 40% marks for SC/ST candidates for admission into MBBS/BDS course.
2. For admission to First Year Masters Program
Computer Application (MCA): Passed or appearing in 2012, for the Bachelor's Degree Examination of minimum three years duration in any discipline from any University of Odisha or equivalent recognized University as defined by UGC and must have passed in Mathematics at 10+2 level. Business Mathematics at +2 level are not permitted. The candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to ST/SC category) in the Qualifying Examination.
Business Administration (MBA)/ PGDM: Passed or appearing in 2012, for the Bachelor's Degree Examination of minimum three years duration in any discipline from any University of Odisha or equivalent recognized University as defined by UGC. The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination.
PGCM: Passed or appearing in 2012, for the Bachelor's Degree Examination of minimum three years duration in any discipline from any University of Odisha or equivalent recognized University as defined by UGC.
PGDM (Executive): Passed or appearing in 2012, for the Bachelor's Degree Examination of minimum three years duration in any discipline from any University of Odisha or equivalent recognized University as defined by UGC and a minimum of 5 years relevant managerial/ supervisory experience. The candidate should have obtained at least 50% (45% in case of candidate belonging to ST/SC category) in the Qualifying Examination.
3. For admission to Second Year Engineering/Technology/Architecture/ Pharmacy under Lateral Entry
Passed or appearing in 2012, in diploma examination in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture from State Council of Technical Education (SCTE&VT), Odisha or equivalent with at least 45% marks(40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination in appropriate branches of Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture for direct admission to th third semester degree courses in Engineering/ Technology/ Architecture.
Passed or appearing in 2012 in diploma examination in two years diploma course in Pharmacy with minimum of 45% marks(40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in the qualifying examination marks in aggregate from Odisha State Board of Pharmacy (OSBP) or SCTE&VT or equivalent for direct admission to the third semester degree course in Pharmacy.
4. For admission to Second Year Degree courses in Engineering/Technology under Lateral Entry For B.Sc
Passed or appearing in 2012,for the Bachelor's Degree examination of three years duration in Science from any University of Odisha or equivalent from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks(40% marks in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category) in aggregate in the qualifying examination and must have passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.
5. PGAT (M.Tech/M.Pharm/M.Arch) for admission to 1st Year Degree Courses in Engineering/ Tech./ Architecture/ Pharmacy

- Application forms can be obtained from banks/post offices on payment of Rs. 550/-
- Online Application can also be made by filling the application form available on the websites of OJEE : www.ojee.nic.in or www.odishajee.com. The applicant must submit he receipt of confirmation slip and demand draft to Chairman, OJEE-2012. The draft should be made for Rs. 550/- drawn in favour of "OJEE- 2012" on any nationalized bank payable at Bhubaneshwar.
- Application forms can also be obtained from OJEE-2012 Office. Candidates can apply for application form by post on payment of A/C payee Demand Draft for Rs. 550/- drawn in favour of "OJEE-2012" on any nationalized bank paable at Bhubaneshwar along with a stamped (Rs.75/-) 30 cmx25cm Size cloth lined self addressed envelope from the Office of the Chairman,

JEE Orissa 2012 Admit Card
If a candidate does not receive the Admit Card for the examination by April 25, 2012, then he/she must check his /her roll No. and centre of examination from OJEE-2012 website. He/she may download two copies of the duplicate admit card from the OJEE website.
A photograph identical to the one submitted during application should be pasted on each copy of the downloaded duplicate admit card. One copy of the duplicate admit card must be submitted at the examination hall and other should be retained by the candidate. The submitted admit card may be examined at a later stage to validate the authenticity.
